Easy Way To Color Pikachu

Continue from last drawing tutorial "Easy Way To Draw Pikachu"

First of all use a lineart layer like this, normal layer could work but lineart layer will be easier for these stuff.

Select magic wand , a wand like tool which is selected on my screenshot. Then Click somewhere inside lineart when selecting lineart layer. Their color should turn blue, Which means every brush will only affect these selected part

Pick a color on color pallets and select your own prefered brushes, for color reference you can see google for one. To make accurate color open picture in paintool SAI, And then use ALT + Left click to pick a color from other picture, make sure you do it in intended colored part.

Repeat Previous step until all part are colored.

Make new layer, i usualy lower the opacity for a very quick coloring.

Color it around these parts (or other you wanted) dont worry about messy look will be fixed in next part.

In this part use eraser slowly and shape the shading into a better look. Then repeat same things to every desired part to shade.

Voila,.. And it is done. A full colored pikachu.

Easy Way To Draw A Pikachu

Alright Now i going to show you how to draw a Pikachu on computer with paintool SAI and i do this way for most pokemon as well

It will help to draw lines next using them as base 

Make A new layer and do what i do on this one, but you can use your own style on it though,

 Also i do using reference for my drawing , i use pictures on googles or 3D models i have for other point view

On this part you need patience but will be easy once you get hang of it.

If you able to make the line on this guy the result should be like this. Worry about the rough line? We can fix it in next step.

Make all rough line layers invisible so only lineart layers left. Dont save it on other format but SAI if you want to color the lineart and dont fuse it with other layer. It will make them harder to color. But you can export it as other image format as a normal picture without layer data.
